Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), the American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is that of his favorite uncle and the first name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within a year.
